Approaching the Threshold!

As I take another step – forever moving forward,
I can’t help but notice that I’m stood quite still!
Living the life of a hermit on his private island,
Approaching the threshold of my own free will!

As I follow my path – wading metaphorical wonders,
I can count on the elements to play with the trees!
The strumming of epiphany that share’s in adventure,
Approaching the threshold with the life in the breeze!

As I serve each sentence – with my lust for letters,
I like to weave within the intricacies – the telling of our tales!
The rhythms of the rhyming reason – dancing to the beat,
Approaching the threshold where the hope fills your sails!

As I feel the sun – in its heightened smoulder,
I remember the threads of childhood that made me smile!
The endless billow of long summer days – contemplating and dreaming,
Approaching the threshold at the end of the ragged mile!

As I taste the air – within a wash of echoes,
I wonder on my plunder as I write my lines!
Skipping in the groove with the constants rebounding,
Approaching the threshold with all the natural signs!

As I paint my picture – the thunder rumbles,
I can go with the flow and ride with the tide!
Flashes of inspiration dancing – through the corners of windows,
Approaching the threshold with a ball of energy inside!

As I draw my close – I feel the future calling,
I see forever spin a spiral as we take our turn!
Filling in the scenery – with explosions full of greenery,
Approaching the threshold – so we live so we learn!
