Aquarius (Happy New Age)
Aquarius (Happy New Age)
A whole year has passed since we all gathered at the Grove, the first lockdown started the day before we would have met for Spring Equinox, so I have mostly been on my own.
The weather had been good through the Summer and Autumn. Winter Solstice started ok, the Sunset Ceremony on Sunday the 20th was dry with clear skies, I stayed to look at the Jupiter and Saturn conjunction, even with a telescope though it wasn’t that spectacular.
However, this was the start of a new age “Aquarius,” yes, the one we’ve been singing about for the last 50 years is finally here, let’s hope it meets our expectations?
The following day the 21st was a different story and it rained all day, I still went over to welcome in the new year!
Imbolc was also wet but not as cold as previous years, there was a brief moment mid-afternoon when I could set up and do a solo Ceremony, but by the time I finished it rained again.
As I cycled home in the rain, I thought to myself, in 45 days it will be Spring with longer and warmer days.
And so, the turning of the Sunwheel goes on as it always does, there will be a new year and a new age to replace the old.
“Happy New Age!”
Until next time – Glentaowen
