Part 26: Logs

From seed to timber, there is no other intended use for millions bred and destined to economically support man’s wishes.

Slivers into matches, sawn planks into trusses, gates and the like.

The felled tree’s “log” proceeds along its way, in many variations of stack, some small…others large…and those which are forgotten which, unlike the proverbial rolling stone, do gather moss.

So, just a small selection of photos taken during our interesting walks through the Scottish forests.
