Part 8: Beltane

Yet another welcome gift from our Sun, set against backdrop of azure infinity holding fluffy white cotton, warming our ceremony day. Another welcome addition is our new logo for Water Wheel Grove, designed and created by Glentaowen, and gratefully accepted by us, to adorn Water Wheel Grove’s Beltane and all its future ceremonies.

Our bamboo circled Water Wheel Grove, infant as it is, still awaits completion. Time will overcome, patience will soften the lack of specific objects and, more importantly, understanding will enable ceremonies to continue.

Thronged by feathered creatures, scrabbling amongst bird feeders, Beltane passed without hitch and was over all too quickly.

Reflecting with Skydrift Moon on the ceremony afterwards showed myself, with only a half-year attendance behind me and having recently selected my Druid name as ‘Merlin-Shadow’, to be more confident and looking forward to the ceremonies themselves. A learning curve to the process, and my own competence too.

Too late for the ceremony, but now in place for the future, is our latest acquisition from a recent country visit, a Sentinel stone now sited to the south.
