The Colours of Light!
Star studded streamers with the give of a quiver,
Sprinkling their twinkling across the blackened skies!
The thunder and lightning – should never be so frightening,
Sharing in its flaring with a word to the wise!
Spring’s gift meanders with the stream of the dreamer,
Shimmering and glimmering into each new day!
Turning with the seasons – wrapped up within their reasons,
Showing in its growing as nature feels its way!
Fruit trees blossoming in the shower of their flowering,
The energy of synergy – conducting life as it comes alive!
The clouds they take formation – as they cry in fateful relation,
Easing on the breezing where the elements thrive!
Painted the Primroses – in the ink of memory’s thinking,
Yearning the learning – with the pathway of nature’s trail!
The sun-wise sun-wheel – keeping believing on an even keel,
Refining with the shining – warming the air we all inhale!
Random are the rainbows – a spark within their arcing,
Basking in the unmasking of the colours of light!
The mist of the mountains – the dancing of fountains,
Flattering in their chattering the birds in flight!
The morning chorus with the swell of its melody,
Calming and charming with the wonder of sound!
Installing a calling – where the sun’s rays are falling,
Highlighting the sighting – throwing spotlights on the ground!
The leaves slow unfurling in the fresh scene of the greenery,
What passes for grasses – forever seasonal reaching – on the up!
There’s a Magpie on patrol – while a Dove it takes a stroll,
And the toiling begets a boiling as I refresh my cup!
