Welcome to the time of the Awakening!

We were greeted by the Sun and the new Moon today,
To the chorus of Buzzard – Robin and Crow!
The lacing chill of the bracing wind – prowled the earth today,
And yet the low Sun set a brief – warm but hazy scene!
Water trails of sedimentary shading,
Have left the memory in their wake!
As the snowdrops peep above the surface,
With their journey into the green!

The young Sun’s shining manages all it can muster,
Over the awakening of the land!
With the swelling buds giving plants and trees,
A shape and form to hold against the flow!
The clouds they slowed their racing to a lingering,
For a time they bathed us with a shower!
Then a rainbow shone in the clearing skies – with its double arriving,
To conduct an encore – the awakening set to go!!
